About Me

Fnwchs
I am Faustin Weber, president of Prince of Peace Catholic School in Plano, Texas. I grew up in Mobile Al, attending St. Ignatius and Heart of Mary Catholic elementary schools and graduating from McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. I received a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Notre Dame and then taught English and Theology at Catholic High School in Montgomery, AL. where I also met my wife, Diane. At the age of 27, I was named the school’s principal, and served in that role for 12 years and then for another 7 as president of the newly formed “Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School,” a K-12 school on three campuses. We then moved to Nashville, where I was head of Pope John Paul High School for seven years, and then returned to the Mobile area in 2015 to begin a new high school in Fairhope, St. Michael Catholic High. After 7 years, we moved to Dallas, TX to be nearer to our daughter and her five children. Diane and I have four adult children, Faus, Cynthia, Aaron and Daniel, and 10 grandchildren, with one deceased. The views expressed on this site reflect my own opinions and do not necessarily represent the diocese or school that employs me. I welcome your comments!
